FitForce runs private yoga classes in Dubai at your home, compound gym, or outdoors. Sessions last 45 to 60 minutes and cover general fitness yoga, prenatal yoga and restorative practice. Your instructor brings mats and props, and every new client starts with a free assessment.
Yoga without the class you're trying to keep up with
Most yoga classes in Dubai are group classes, and those have an obvious problem for anyone new to the practice: the room moves at one speed, and it is rarely yours. You end up either straining into shapes your body is not ready for, or glancing sideways to check what everyone else is doing. Neither is much of a practice.
A private session removes the comparison entirely. Your instructor watches only you, corrects what needs correcting, and adjusts the sequence when something is not working. Beginners progress considerably faster this way, and experienced practitioners finally get the attention on alignment that a full class can never give.
Yoga is a practice: it links breath to movement, moves through sequences rather than isolated positions, and the mental side is part of the point. Stretching and flexibility training is narrower and more clinical — targeted work on specific tight areas, with no breath work or sequence. If your hips are locked from a desk job and you want that fixed, stretching is the more direct route. Plenty of clients do both; they are complementary rather than competing.
Yoga or stretching, which one do you actually want?
It links breath to movement, moves through sequences rather than isolated positions, and the mental side — attention, calm, the bit at the end where you lie still — is part of the point rather than a bonus.
Most clients arrive wanting looser hips or a better back, and keep practising for how sessions make them feel afterwards.
Your coach targets specific tight areas, often assists the stretch by hand, and there is no breath work, no sequence and no philosophy.
Hips locked from a desk job? Stretching and flexibility training is the more direct route to fixing that one problem.
Yoga and stretching are complementary rather than competing, and many FitForce clients schedule both in the same week.
Which type of session suits you?
Yoga covers an enormous range. Most clients fall into one of three, and your instructor confirms which at the first session.
Strength, balance and flexibility through flowing sequences. Physically demanding without being punishing, and the most common choice for clients who want yoga as their main form of training.
Sequences adapted to your trimester, focused on breathing, hip mobility and the postural strain of a changing body. Taught by instructors qualified specifically in prenatal practice.
Slow, supported, held positions with props doing most of the work. For clients carrying stress, sleeping badly, or recovering from a period of overtraining.
What happens in a session?
A private yoga session runs 45 to 60 minutes. It opens with breathing and gentle movement to see how your body is that day — which genuinely varies — then moves into the main sequence, and closes with a few minutes of stillness. Your instructor adjusts as it goes rather than running a fixed plan. Props are used freely and without embarrassment; blocks, straps and bolsters exist so that positions meet your body where it is, and everything is brought by your instructor.
The evidence base is broader than most people assume. Johns Hopkins Medicine points to gentle yoga easing arthritic joint discomfort, to a consistent bedtime practice improving sleep, and to regular practice lowering stress and inflammation — one reason cardiologists take it more seriously than they once did.
What is included
Do you need to be flexible to start?
No, and this is the single most common reason people put off starting. Flexibility is an outcome of yoga, not a requirement for it. Most beginners cannot touch their toes, and every position has a version that works for someone who cannot.
What changes first is usually not flexibility at all. Most clients report sleeping better and feeling calmer within the first few weeks, while noticeable range of motion takes a couple of months of consistent practice. Balance improves somewhere in between, and tends to surprise people.
Age is not a barrier either. Restorative and gentle practice suits clients well into their seventies, and the balance work has real value as a fall-prevention measure.

Frequently asked questions
The opposite. Private sessions are the easiest way to begin, because everything is explained and nothing is assumed. Most of our yoga clients started as complete beginners.
No. Your instructor brings mats, blocks, straps and bolsters. You need enough clear floor space to lie down with your arms out.
Yes. Mention it when you get in touch and we will match you with a female instructor available in your area.
With a qualified instructor and your doctor's clearance, yes — the practice is adapted as pregnancy progresses. Tell your instructor how far along you are and about any complications before the first session. For strength work during pregnancy, our prenatal fitness programme covers that side.
For flexibility, balance and stress it works well on its own. It is not aerobic exercise, though, so if cardiovascular fitness matters to you, most instructors would suggest pairing it with something that raises your heart rate.
Sessions are built around what you need rather than a fixed school. If you have practised before and prefer a particular style, say so when booking and we will match you accordingly.
Usually yes, and yoga is often recommended for exactly that. Tell your instructor at the first session so positions can be modified from the start.
